About this Interview

John McCullough, a journalist for the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin, spent his entire career covering politics and government issues, "first at the city, then at the state, then at the national level, and then with a return to the city level." He covered both political parties. McCullough began in Philadelphia and went to Washington, DC before returning to Philadelphia. He became the Bulletin's political editor upon his return from Washington with specific interest in the personalities of politics. In addition to his personal background, McCullough also discusses the Joe Clark administration, Dick Dilworth's political career, and briefly Clark's the close relationship to Dilworth. He also discusses congressman Bill Green, who served on the House Ways and Means Committee, and former Philadelphia mayor, Jim Tate.
